Invitation for Medical Consultant Position

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Medical Consultant (MC) on a contractual basis for dispensaries of Reserve Bank of India, Jammu.

Interested candidates should send their applications to the Regional Director, Human Resource Management Department, Reserve Bank of India, Rail Head Complex, Jammu-180012 on or before August 28, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant should possess an MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India in the allopathic system of medicine.
• Applicants with a postgraduate degree in General Medicine can also apply.
• Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience practicing medicine in any hospital or clinic.
• Applicants should have their clinic/dispensary or place of residence within a radius of 3-5 kms from the Bank’s dispensaries.

Remuneration and Contract Details

• Remuneration will be fixed based on actual duty hours performed.
• Contract engagement will be for a period of three years with no renewal on completion.
• Rate of remuneration and indicative duty hours are provided for the two locations.

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be made through an interview of eligible candidates.
• Shortlisted candidates will undergo medical examination tests and document verification.
• Selected candidates will need to sign a Contract with the Bank.
